Tony Hadley, legendary Spandau Ballet front man, provides his first-ever Christmas album taped and produced in Italy. The album features two brand new songs together with a few of his preferred Christmas classics.
“The Christmas Album” is offered worldwide from November 27th physically, digitally and through all streaming partners.
Produced by Claudio Guidetti and taped totally in Italy, “The Christmas Album” is an eclectic collection of Christmas tunes including: “White Christmas”, “Let It Snow”, “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas”, Bruce Springsteen’s variation of “Santa Claus Is Coming To Town”, “I Think In Father Christmas” by Greg Lake (Emerson, Lake & Palmer ), “Shake Up Christmas” by Train, “Fairy Tale Of New York City (a duet with Nina Zilli)” by The Pogues and Kirsty MacColl, “Lonely This Christmas” by Mud, “Driving Home For Christmas” by Chris Rea, “Run Rudolph Run” by Chuck Berry and “I Don’t Wish To Spend Another Christmas Without You” by N’Sync.

As front male for Spandau Ballet, Tony Hadley led the well-known band through the 1980s with 15 Top 10 songs (including the # 1 smash “True.”) The band took a 20 year hiatus before reforming in 2009, again striking the U.K. Top 10 with their reunion album, When More. Following a well-known documentary (directed by Julien Temple) and an effective trip, Hadley marched with The Christmas Album, his very first holiday offering, revealing the very same adventurous spirit, while doing what he does best– making every song his own.
Including standards like “White Christmas,” “Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Tony Hadley barely knows which country he remains in when Love Sunday publication lastly gets hold of him after a number of days playing phone tag, and it’s not unexpected; after coming out of the jungle in inmost, darkest Australia, he got a whole three days to reunite with his family (spouse Alison and daughters Zara, 9, and Genevieve, 3 and a half, existed to welcome him), prior to flying off briefly to Dubai, followed by Milan, then onto Rome, for work dedications.
